Different, yet kind of the same: Educate, Connect and Entertain.
We have decided to use Hopin because the format allow attendees to “move” around during presentations. You'll be able to visit makers and watch live demos, presentation style demos or interviews. Just like if it was an in person event, If something is too simple or too advanced, move over to another presenter. Interact by using the chat function and meet other smiths at open networking times.
But, will there be beer?! No, duh. Of course! This is Canada. BYOB, eh!
We'll kick things off on Friday night at 7pm with the Forge Lighting Party. Saturday, we'll get an early start with smiths from across Canada, USA and International. And we'll end the day by announcing the Blacksmith and Bladesmith Challenges. Yes, there are awesome prizes! Sunday, we continue our cross country tour of smiths and once again, go global.
