my name is Quirin Schmid I am twenty years old and a passionate artist blacksmith.

 

At the moment I am working in a traditional artist blacksmith company in southern bavaria (<a style="text-decoration-line: none; color: #4285f4;" href=" removed link "> removed link ) . We´re mainly working southern to Munich but we also have customers in Russia, USA and the United Kingdom. In 2025 I´d like to work with blacksmiths and travel the world and for this reason i'm asking if you could need a helping hand for some time.

 

My father is a self-employed artist blacksmith and I more or less gained my first experience looking over his shoulder. In September 2020 I started my apprenticeship which should take 3,5 years, but because of my excellent performance, I finished six months earlier.

I am very experienced in Stick, MAG and specially TIG welding. At my actual working place I work alone most of the time, so for me it´s normal to work self-sufficient.

Punching holes spuare or round, is even slanted no problem for me. Riveting and forging different leaves is also part of my job. We mainly produce railings, stair railings, garden gates, door/window handles and grave crosses.

 

In my spare time I like to hike in the beautifull Bavarian mountains, play the guitar in a traditional Bavarian band or practice my smithing skills. At the moment I´m trying baroque leaves.I´m also a qualified and experienced hunter and love to work on my family´s alpaca farm ( <a style="text-decoration-line: none; color: #4285f4;" href=" removed link ">www.alpakahof-riegsee.de )
